COMPANY WITH A FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON COLLABORATIVE LIVING LAUNCHES IN HONG KONG
Hong Kong, 15 March 2018 – Weave Co-Living is a Hong Kong-headquartered collaborative living company that provides convenient and affordable living spaces for rent with stunning facilities for a thriving community of Asia’s millennials and young professionals to live, experience and inspire.
With impeccably designed, functional en-suite bedrooms at all-inclusive rents, Weave deconstructs elements of a traditional home such that spaces like living room, kitchen, den, gym and breakfast bar are either provided on each resident floor or on amenity floors for its residents to share. Weave’s communities are located close to public transport in neighborhoods with extensive social amenities; some properties will also feature significant retail or F&B space, adding value to its residential offering.
The concept of co-living is growing across the world whether that’s New York, San Francisco or London, and Weave is set to appeal to Asia’s young adults by offering its professionally managed and highly-desirable living spaces that cater to the daily needs of residents. “This is a fresh and forward-thinking way to live,” explains Sachin Doshi, Founder of Weave Co-Living. “At Weave, every single decision is made with our residents in mind – from location, bedroom design to selection of amenities in our shared spaces.”
Convenience plays a significant role as Weave is brought to life. Weave will feature a proprietary technology platform to facilitate communication amongst residents and between residents and the community teams. “It’s all about hassle-free living,” adds Doshi. “The more thought we put into life at Weave, the more time and energy our residents will have to focus on work and play. At the same time, we want to help them build strong and lasting relationships. We’re in the business of building memories.”
Community is another key focus for Weave, with a full events calendar including everything from sports, such as yoga in the park, to cooking and mixology classes, public speaking and career development, painting and crafts, stand-up comedy and live music, and community outreach; paving the way for residents to connect, both with their neighbors at Weave and with the wider community. Many of these events and activities will be enhanced through brand partnerships with both local and global organizations, to ensure that residents are well taken care of. “At Weave, our team goes the extra mile,” says Doshi. “Residents should feel welcome at Weave; after all, it is their home.”
Hong Kong’s first Weave property, Weave on Boundary, is located at 36 Boundary Street in bustling Prince Edward, a stone’s throw from the MTR station and will open its doors this summer to an inaugural community of 160 residents across 10 floors. Weave on Boundary’s private en-suite bedrooms come with unlimited access to a semi-private pantry on each floor that residents share with their floormates, and an exclusive resident-only floor which includes: ample and comfortable seating and tables for residents to eat, chat, play, work, read or relax, as well as table tennis, pool, video games and darts. The property also features a well-equipped gym complete with cardio machines, functional trainers and free weights, and a large common kitchen with plenty of hob and oven space, as well as self-service vending and laundry machines. Residents also have access to the rooftop terrace which features stunning views of Hong Kong’s iconic Lion Rock – a great place to kick back in the sun and enjoy BBQs and drinks with friends.
Weave will celebrate the launch of its brand with an event called “Unwind” on 5 May 2018, a chance for Hong Kong to get up-close and personal with the type of lifestyle and environment Weave intends to offer. The event is organized in partnership with WE Club and funds raised at the event will be donated to international non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity. Online applications to live at Weave on Boundary will launch on the same date. Showrooms will be available for viewing by shortlisted applicants and media ahead of opening, and more details about the property will follow.
